If you are out of the loop you may have missed the 40 minutes long livestream about the Dead Space remake, so I summed up all the important news in this short. First off Motive revealed that they are expanding the environment of the Ishimura with some new side areas to deliver some unfamiliar experiences to old fans as well, which is awesome. The remake will feature the same narrative, but there will be more audio logs and text logs on the ship to better flash out the lore established in Dead Space 2 and new additions made by the team. Dismembering the Necromorphs will be more engaging as Isaac will need to first expose their bones, and then break them with a second shot. As mentioned earlier they confirmed that there will not be any micro-transactions and that Isaac will float in 0G environments like in Dead Space 2. Isaac will only speak when asked and if it would be weird for him to remain silent. Graphics are looking pretty crisp and I hope many new fans will jump into this classic horror experience!
