Before they were 'super', they were just the Mario Bros., working hard and trying to make a living. In this game, Mario and Luigi are plumbers and it's their job to investigate the sewers of New York after strange creatures have been appearing down there. The objective of the game is to defeat all the enemies in each phase. 'Mario Bros.' is the standard classic arcade platformer with 'wraparound'. Use it to your advantage!

This game mechanics reminds me a lot of 'Ice Climber', except without the iconic Ice Climber hammer. There are a total of 12 original stages, or in this game 'phases' that repeat endlessly until you run out of lives. This may seem primitive as far as games go, but there's more going on here than in 'Popeye' or 'Donkey Kong 3'.
