A talk by Mario Szegedy at the Quantum Machine Learning Workshop, hosted September 24-28, 2018 by the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science at the University of Maryland (QuICS).

Abstract: By exploring the algebraic structure for the set of periodic functions that arise in quantum signal processing, we design a new product decomposition algorithm. We provide experimental evidence that in settings where high-precision arithmetics is not available, our algorithm works more efficiently than previous ones.
