I go through the new mode introduced in Ver. 3.0.0 of the game, the Ring Shot challenge. You can either do the normal Ring Shot in singles and doubles, with Double being similar to the current Co-op Challenge but you can choose any character, and the Yoshi Ring Shot, which is more or less the same as said challenge.

However, if you try to complete all VS Challenges, you will unlock the Purple Yoshi alt. Overall, it seems to be pretty easy, though I did mess up one shot in Intermediate which made me lose, and I had to retry Advanced a few times.
