We have reached the postgame. I will basically be showing off the Gym Leader Rematches along with catching Mewtwo and battles with Green and Red.

As I leave the house the world has “expanded” after becoming Champion (1:18), which means that you can fly high in the sky if you have Charizard, Aerodactyl, or Dragonite out of their Poké Ball. Youngster Ronny then tells us that Master Trainers have appeared all over Kanto, with there being 153 in total (though you can only battle 145 of them). I decide to try out the Pikachu Master Battle, so I decide to feed Pikachu some candies (4:24), then challenge Lass Ikue (9:09). As mentioned, these battles are one on one with no items, so you have to make sure that your Pokémon are well trained and candies are basically a must. I end up winning the battle and earn the title of Pikachu Master. I try to battle the Charizard Master (13:37), but am easily defeated.

After that, I decide to re-battle every Gym Leader in Kanto, with timestamps listed below. This is also the first time we get to battle Blue, who has a pretty strong team. After going through these, I finally go inside Cerulean Cave (1:10:30), which has become much easier to traverse, and battle Mewtwo (1:15:29). This battle is a bit more difficult due to its high level, and I have a very hard time catching it, but eventually manage to do so (1:30:10). After leaving the cave to heal up, I go back in to Mewtwo’s location to find Green, who challenges me to a battle (1:36:22) due to her being jealous of you catching Mewtwo. Her team is in the same level as Blue’s team, so it isn’t too hard of a battle, especially if you use your newly earned Mewtwo with stat boosting battle items like I did. After defeating her, I head back to the Elite Four, which also has an improved team. After defeating them and entering the Hall of Fame once again, I save. All that is left is to find the elusive Red.
