I head over to the restaurant to meet with Chairman Rose before heading over to the Galar Mines (3:17). I spend quite a bit of time inside, dealing with Bede and some Team Yell members. I finally reach the end (28:38) where Kabu, the Motostoke Gym Leader, takes care of some more Team Yell members. The exit leads to the Motostoke Outskirts, where I battle some trainers before ending up back in Motostoke.

There, I stock up on some battle items before heading back to the hotel, where I battle Marnie. After the battle, I rest for the next day, and look through some League Cards I obtained (42:03). I finally challenge the Motostoke Gym (45:58), where the puzzle is to catch wild Pokémon without the gym trainers getting in the way. I face Kabu (55:08) afterward, having a much easier time thanks to Carkol’s speed stat going up with its attacks. Upon his defeat, I get the Fire Badge, which allows me to catch Pokémon up to level 35. I head back out to the Wild Area and save.
