This is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent with OpenAL Soft's HRTF and EAX through DSOAL. From what I understand, this game was considered the first mistake in the franchise. While the PS2/Xbox/Wii version was developed by the Chaos Theory team and uses the same engine, the PS3/360/PC version is a completely different game by the Pandora Tomorrow team with a newer, shittier engine. Getting this to record at all was a major pain in the ass since it's so glitchy and refuses to start in 1080p. Unless you tweak the .ini files, the graphics look worse than the first game from 2002! I almost considered skipping Double Agent, but I ended up suffering through the whole demo so you don't have to.
The 3D audio in Double Agent is about on-par with the first three games. This level doesn't really have much opportunity to demonstrate the binaural audio, but at least you can hear it and the EAX effects. There is a glitch towards the end where once leave the interior of the Supertanker at 18:34, the rest of the level gains an echoey hall reverb for no reason other than Ubisoft jank.
If you want to play Double Agent with DSOAL yourself, though, remember this important tip. **You must set "boost=-6" in the alsoft.ini.** There is a bug in DSOAL with certain EAX3 and EAX4 games that causes reverb to be doubled when HRTF is enabled. It's kind of why I've been avoiding a demonstration of this game until now.
