The remaining obvious effects of the future data glitch from Chapter 8.

0:00 - Chapter 8-2. Next loading trigger is active from the start. Activating future data sends Max to next cutscene, although you see it through the in-game camera. At the end, he just gets stuck in place.

(Not on the video: since enemies are still in the shooting range, they can free Max at the end by damaging him enough to start Last Man Standing. This allows you to explore the Chapter 8-3 area early with no enemies or triggers loaded.)

0:34 - Alt. variation. (Note: I call the variation where you reach next Checkpoint an "Alt. variation").

The Chapter 8-3 set piece and preceding cutscene are overlapped. You can choose to shoot the driver speeding at Max and Passos during the combined cutscene for slightly different effects. If you do nothing, the set piece resets a few times as long as the combined cutscene continues.

1:17 - Otherwise, you complete the set piece but Max and the camera get stuck showing the crash. (The Pause-menu is "cinematic", meaning the whole game is effectively softlocked.)

1:59 - Chapter 8-3. Next loading trigger activates a few seconds after the start of the set piece.

The set piece combines with the following cutscene. If you do nothing, Max and Passos will get ran over repeatedly as long as the combined cutscene continues. After it ends, the Chapter 8-3 set piece starts like normal.

2:49 - Alt. variation. Max is sent to Chapter 8-4 early while still stuck in the combined cutscene.

3:27 - Chapter 8-4. Alt. variation. Max is sent to Chapter 8-5 early while still stuck in the combined cutscene. Enemies keep shooting at Max during all this, and if he dies, after retry most actors in the area have become cloned (including vehicles) and some of the enemies will be passive.

(Not on the vid: I don't show the regular variation because it's very similar to the alt. variation, except more dull. You just watch the combined cutscene from in-game camera without any enemies around, and at the end Max falls out of bounds.)

5:29 - Chapter 8-6. Next loading trigger activates after running through the gates.

Activating future data, Max teleports to the next set piece early. However, you suddenly see an ominous camera angle with Passos standing around before the screen fades to black. You hear some cutscene audio in the background, until eventually Passos gets shot. After retry things continue like normal from Chapter 8-7.

6:21 - variation with LMS. Max dies during the black screen, which restores visibility early. Now the preceding cutscene and the current set piece both happen at the same time. Passos (or a clone of his) is repeatedly shot until you do something about it. Things return to normal once the combined cutscene ends.

7:18 - another clip of the LMS variation, this time with late timing. I also win the set piece instead of having Passos shot repeatedly. This starts the gun fight while Max is still stuck in combined cutscene motions.

8:18 - Chapter 8-7. Next loading trigger is active after rescuing Passos.

Activating future data, Max and Passos appear at the next cutscene talking to the graveyard worker. You see the entire combined cutscene from in-game camera, and at the end Max gets stuck standing on the other side of the gate. Enemies seemingly can't reach him, so you can't break free using LMS either. Retry takes you back to Chapter 8-7.

9:09 - another variation of the future data. I start it over retry and then rescue Passos. As a result, Max will be vulnerable during the combined cutscene. This allows Max to get LMS'd during it and thus break free at the end instead of getting stuck.

You can explore in the area where the sniper would be normally without enemies or triggers. Sadly, you're stuck and can't go any further.
