As expected, here are some more glitches.

---

0:00 - clipping through walls with Spectral Dash

Spectral Dash (or the later unlock Waters of Lorien) can breach through certain type of collision or go over ledges with relative ease, at least on (unpatched) PS4.

(Sadly, I wasn't able to break into the Ithidlin rooms using this tactic. Breaching completely smooth surface isn't an option, you need at least some type of a corner for it to work.)

0:48 - I wanted to check out the lava in Gorgoroth a bit closer, so I clipped through a wall with Spectral Dash. But it's just an endless pit.

It looks like the world map graphics can be seen way down under the map?

1:06 - mount ledge glitch (and other mount oddities)

If you press 'drop' and 'attack' at a very quick succession next to a ledge while riding a Caragor or a Graug, the mount will do an attack over the invisible boundary of the ledge. If you go far enough with the attack (or do multiple attacks), it's possible to completely fall off the ledge.

1:19 - doing this from a high enough place, you can start riding with your mount while falling. It's "air riding" in a sense, but sadly the gravity is merciless while doing this and you can't reach very far.

1:37 - in certain high places you can air ride out of the map.

1:57 - if you are sliding down the side of a building on Caragor and then decide to kill the mount, the poor Caragor will get stuck hanging on the wall.

2:21 - it's normally not possible to reach Barrows while on a mount (nor is it possible to summon a mount while inside one). However, you can breach the invisible wall that normally blocks your mount in at least one of them - the Minas Ithil Barrows. Just dash against the wall, then do a 180 turn. Then turn again towards the invisible wall. This should clip the beast through.

(Oops, the video says "Burrows"... it's a typo.)

(Not on the vid: I didn't find anything too interesting to do inside the Barrows with a Caragor. Some of the collision acts slightly glitchy when you're on a mount, though.)

2:52 - another fast travel glitch

Unlike in Shadow of Mordor, in Shadow of War it's possible to buffer a quest prompt behind the Map-screen.

If you attempt to begin a new quest at the same time as you fast travel, you get what looks like an endless loading screen after the travel. The game is now softlocked, unless you fast traveled somewhere with a 'purify' prompt, as you can use that to immediately return things back to normal.

(So basically, the fastest softlock route for this game involves unlocking Barrows, then using this glitch and traveling to Barrows. That way you can't escape the endless loading screen.)

3:31 - "activate" glitches

The same loophole with "activate" from Shadow of Mordor still works in Shadow of War, except it doesn't cause zipping or levitating. But you can still interrupt a climb on top of a pole.

3:52 - you can take a ground state on pole by interrupting the climb at a specific time close to the end. I guess it's an unique combined state, but so far it doesn't do anything particularly strange.

(This worked in Shadow of Mordor too, although it wasn't shown in the glitches & observations video.)

4:18 - with a very early timing, Talion doesn't even leave the ground before he starts crouching as if he was on a pole.

If you now climb on the pole or 'drop' to a nearby ledge, you activate another unique mode which may be buffer-related. The double jump is basically permanently buffered to activate whenever possible. If Talion enters a freefall, he will always do the double jump at the earliest possible moment without your say on things. This mode lasts indefinitely (even over a fast travel) and only ends after you press 'X' / jump in-game.

5:08 - getting booted off the Caragor with double jump buffered.
