Max Payne 3 - incidental glitches pt. 1
6I recently played through Max Payne 3 on hard-difficulty. And what do you know, I get a few strange glitches without even trying to find them.
By the way, my next batch of glitch videos will be of Max Payne 3. I decided to return to this game after a long last. It's a stylish, cinematic game, so you can expect its glitches to be stylish and cinematic too!
I: a lighting glitch that made the entire game world remain very dark. I have no idea what started this glitch - I first played through Chapter 5, then decided to return to it to pick up some clues I missed. I first went to Checkpoint 2 to examine the helicopter. Then I quit and entered Checkpoint 5... and all of a sudden everything was dark.
When this glitch happens, Max also spawns without a gun on his hand, so you have to equip one as the first thing to even be able to defend yourself.
II: an enemy is hanging out in t-pose for no particular reason up ahead. You can shoot him, but I think he re-activates soon and becomes a normal enemy anyway.
III: a Last Man Standing-glitch. I think it started because Max was blown to bits and shot at the same time. So, Last Man Standing began. After shooting the enemy that hit me with a bullet, Max fell down and refused to get up again. The camera was also fixed to a direction, as if Last Man Standing was still going on. It seemed like Max was invulnerable during this time, and enemies couldn't kill him although he was just laying there powerless during this time.
IV: an enemy does a death dance. Might as well go out with style...
