7Just some odds and ends of what you can do at the Fire of Ares door.
I: In some circumstances, like doing a Fire Rage during the door intro, you can get enemies to spawn early.
II: you can lure the enemies to parts of the level where they normally can't reach. Also, falling on some sloped collision while tethering an enemy causes Kratos' chain to graphically glitch up for a moment.
III: doing the X tether finisher without it connecting, you glitch up your opponent. The victimized Satyr will keep holding their chest as if they were still tethered, even though they aren't. They may blithely follow Kratos around the area or start running in some random direction endlessly.
IV: if you examine the fire urn after the Fire of Ares door is already open, nothing much happens. You get the cutscene, but afterwards no enemies spawn and you're free to leave.
V: on the other hand, if you examine the fire urn after having enemies spawn early, you get hopelessly stuck. The game doesn't register your attempts to do Fire Rage or Magic, and so the door ever opens up.
