Maybe Pewdiepie is Wrong...YouTube is Not Broken
Pewdiepie complains of losing views, blaming YouTube's changes. The truth is...
Pewdiepie is wrong. YouTube is not broken. Our strategy as creators and entrepreneurs just often sucks or is not existent.
When approaching any online or social media project, you have to have a winning strategy and the willingness to stick to a specific course of action long enough for your audience or customers to make a trusting connection with you.
Most of the entrepreneurs, businesses and creators I work with have "pretty shiny" syndrome. In other words, every cool new thing that catches their eye, they are off to try to make that work. They aren't willing to build a strategy around their skillset and curiosity and then stick to a plan until it works.
This is called being an opportunist. We can't win as opportunists. We have to think like generals in war. Gather knowledge, develop a strategy and a plan around that knowledge and then execute with an iron will.
