How to Get Your First 100 Instagram Followers in Under a Month
54I didn't want to jump on Instagram until I had a clear strategy for how to manage my growth and my reach. Here are the tricks I used to gain instagram 500 followers in less than one month.
1. Stick With a Particular Theme
If you want to attract a highly engaged audience, you need to post in such a way that they begin to believe that your content is tailored made for them.
2. Use Hashtags Strategically
This is one of the ways I exploded on Instragram when I first started just a few months ago. Understanding how to use hashtags to get your content in front of your target audience is key. Just be careful not to use overly general tags because your content can fade into obscurity very quicky in those more general searches.
3. Always Sign Your Art
If the images or art you are posting are your own creations, be sure to tag them in some simple but noticeable way so that people can immediately recognize your brand. A simple watermark should do (this also won't hurt when someone inevitably uses your awesome work in THEIR posts).
4. Post Frequently, But Don't Overdo It
If you read 10 different blogs, you'll get 10 different answers about how much you should post. When I map out my content strategies, I keep it very simple. I find the person in my field who is winning the hardest and I try to mimic their system.
The simple rule of thumb I follow is to post highly valuable content once a day when it comes to Instagram.
5. It's Okay To Tag Famous People If...
If you are talking about them or showcasing them in your post or your artwork. Once upon a time, I did a comedy bit on YouTube about Taylor Swift shopping at Gamestop. I used a picture of her in the thumbnail and included her in my tags.
As a relatively small channel, I saw a slight bump in viewership for that episode in the series because of this. If you can tag folks ethically and in a non-annoying way, it's definitely okay to do so.
