Soldiers from Hohne's 9th 12th Royal Lancers have held their battle honour memorial day - Mons Moy.

It was also a chance to react to last week's Army2020 announcement that they are to merge with Catterick based the Queens Royal Lancers.

The new name for the merged regiment is still unconfirmed. But with both units have similar histories, battle honours and are both reconnaissance specialists.
