Part 13... boy things get bad for me.Metroid didn't get a sequel until
1992 with Metroid II: Return of Samus. Though it was the second game in
the franchise, its considered the sixth entry in the franchise taking
place after Prime 3 and before Super Metroid. Though the game wasn't
well received, it provided unique new features such as new weapons, new
ways of exploration, save points and a new look for the Varia Suit. The
most unique is the Spider Ball which dunks Samus in rubber cement
giving her the ability to crawl through walls and ceilings providing
new means of exploration as well as the Space Jump which allows her to
somersault continuously in mid-air along with the Spring Ball which
gives her Morph Ball form the ability to jump off the ground.
