After clearing out the ten Metroids in Area 3, "Gamma Central," Samus has moved on to the entrance of Area 4. This area and Area 5 are small, so they will both be covered in this video.

Area 4 is very small. At the end, Samus will find Metroid 16, Gamma Metroid #11 (time 1:42). Once it is dead, a quake will drain the acid that Samus saw back in the entrance of Area 3.

So, Samus backtracks to the main shaft (time 3:40). There, she makes her way back to Area 3 (time 4:15). She drops down past where the acid used to be into Area 5 (time 4:35). This area has only two Metroids.

To the left and up, past an acid pit, Samus will find Metroid 15, Alpha Metroid #14 (time 5:38). There is also an energy refill in this room.

In the upper-right of this area, Samus will find Metroid 14, Gamma Metroid #12 (time 7:21). A delightful missile refill can be found here. After the ground shakes under Samus's feet, the acid will drain some more.

So, Samus makes her way back to the main shaft (time 9:19). She descends past the Area 4 entrance.

Past an acid-filled pit, she goes through the entrance to Area 6 (time 10:52). This is the last major ruins area, where seven Metroids can be found.

Just inside, she will find Metroid 13, Gamma Metroid #13 (time 11:11).

After entering the area's main chamber, she can drop through a Metroid shell to find Missile Expansion 19 (time 11:38).

After entering the ruins and climbing a long shaft, she will find the area's save station.
