Samus has reached Area 8 of SR388, the home of three Omega Metroids. This is not a long area, but the Omegas can prove quite dangerous.

At the top of the shaft, Samus turns left. Eventually, she comes across Metroid 04, Omega Metroid #2 (time 0:55). Don't forget about their weakness to back attacks.

To the right, past an acid pit, Samus will reach the lair of the other two Metroids. To the right, she will find Metroid 03, Omega Metroid #3 (time 3:11).

To the left, she will find Metroid 02, Omega Metroid #4 (time 5:04).

Another quake will occur when the last Omega is defeated. After this, Samus can go down the route leading to Area 9 (time 7:17). This corridor would be blocked off by spikes if Samus had tried to go through before clearing out the previous 38 Metroids.

Before long, she reaches Area 9 (time 7:51). While climbing up, beware of pits hidden in the water. They are not dangerous, just annoying.

After some climbing, Samus reaches the final save station (time 9:11).
