Here is a walkthrough of me going through Metroid: Other M for the Wii. I am getting a 100% completion which is only in terms of item pickups.

Samus fights some Zebesians on a lift and eventually encounters a Rhedogian, which eventually escapes. After that, I find a Morph Ball tunnel that goes all the way back to the elevator. I use this time to get the other expansions that I can get in the Main Deck. In Sector 3, I have to take a small detour in order to unlock a door that I have already gone through before. There, Anthony is in trouble with the same Rhedogian, and Samus unlocks her Grapple Beam to save him. The creature gets away once again, and I save after some more backstory.
