Here is a walkthrough of me going through Metroid: Other M for the Wii. I am getting a 100% completion which is only in terms of item pickups.

I go through the entire first visit of Sector 3 in this part. Samus faces some old and new creatures, such as the Magdollites, an Asborean, and a boss battle with Goyagma. I also get the fourth Energy Part here, which creates a new Energy Tank. There's also the Ice Beam and Varia Feature that are unlocked. After finding out that she can't go any further, Adam tells Samus to go to Sector 2.
