Snake advances into the jungle beyond the warehouse and eventually ventures into its deepest part where he is immediately called out by The End who uses his uncanny connection to the woods to gather strength for what he deduces will be his final hunt. Due to The End's body possessing photosynthetic qualities, allowing him to essentially live off the sunlight and his camouflage expertise, duel between him and Snake quickly turns into grueling battle of attrition in which both men try to survive the sprawling wilderness while also hunting each other within it. Eventually, Snake gains upper hand and emerges victorious with The End's advanced age rapidly catching up to him moments before his explosive detonates, destroying his corpse. With another Cobra Unit member dead and way into mountains leading into Groznyj Grad clear, Snake heads into the tunnel and upon climbing out of it, finds himself in Krasnogorje mountains...
