I had these recorded to compare uptime, damage numbers, etc. for the following conditional damage boosting skills. Not to any scientific level of details, just the overall feel I get from them.

I ran these all against the Optional Quest Nergigante, with Attack Up L meal that comes with inconsequential kitchen skills. Probably the most consistent I can get.

It's not about the kill time, just comparison.

i) 00:15 Resentment
The idea is to take some chip damage from guard, and deliver a beefed up counter poke. I really want to make Resentment works, but it is rather difficult. It's too expensive for the damage buff, the slots required, and how hard it is to activate and keep it activated.

ii) 03:58 Peak Performance
Seems to be the rather go-to skill for most occasion. Synergises well with any healing skills, augments, items, good defense stats, damage negation, etc.

iii) 06:45 Agitator
Lower damage buff, but comes with affinity. Almost guaranteed one activation per encounter, although RNG can be a tricky mistress.

iv) 09:46 Evade Window
This is rather out of place, but then again I did manage to fit all the skills in this set. I find that Lance being so good at guarding sorta disincentivise dodging, unless when it comes to Nerg's dive bomb. That one's just for the hype.
