In another one of my attempt at Resentment armour skill, I pit this set against a terribly damaging tempered Nergigante.

Instead of health augment, I'm using the "Ruin" class of the Lunastra's lance, which comes with Hasten Recovery. Simply put, it allows Resentment to stay activated for a couple more hits.

That's pretty much it. Still not quite worth the investment. This set alone I could fit in any combinations of Critical Boost, Peak Performance, Maximum Might, Attack Boost, etc and it'll probably be a better use for the slots and charm.

This is currently my last foray into Resentment. Perhaps Resentment is better suited when building without crit in mind. But I don't quite see the potential in that.

On an irrelevant observation: chip damage doesn't seem to be scaled relative to the actual damage. It is as though the chip damage (and the impact) is calculated based on the type of the attack and the Guard skill, without taking into account any damage modifier from the attack itself. Worth checking out whenever I get around to it.
