Xeno has 2 star weakness against Blast, and kinda beefy. So a good a target as any I guess to test this kinda stuff.

Taking into account damage from the boulders, poison, and however much the Palico did, I'd say the blast damage contributed to about 20% of the bow's damage.

Having said that, the majority of the damage occurs in the beginning, while the blast threshold is still relatively low. Meaning the blast portion of the bow will weigh less and less the longer the encounter goes on.

I don't know the damage threshold to trip lock Xeno nor do I really care. 8 minutes isn't great, but it's also about average for me. I didn't get trampled for half an hour, so I'm happy.

I also have Piercing Shot on this build because I like doing weird stuff from time to time.
