hey guys, bit of a different on today! this is a faithful DK64 soundfont cover of my fav Celeste song, Mirror Temple B-Sides by 2 Mello
I know what you're thinking: why? So a few months ago i was playing a lot of Donkey Kong 64 randomizer and realized there was a way to make custom music inside of the game, and I decided to give a crack at covering Mirror Temple B to convert it to MIDI so I could play in the game. I'm not really sure why but I just could not get it to work in the game lol, I'm sure i messed something simple up but oh well. I didn't want the song to just collect dust either so I decided to post it :)
I also sort of have a tradition of whenever I try out a new music or tracking program, I always like to do 2 songs in them: Megalovania and Mirror Temple. It lets me use two songs I'm extremely familiar and in love with to gauge what the program would have potential for. Mirror Temple was easy, cuz I've had a MIDI of it in Musescore for years lol, it was just a matter of swapping the instruments out!
Also i hope you don't mind the lazy video editing and re-using footage, I basically just wanted to share the music so I used the path with least resistance lol. Hopefully the Synthesia piano roll looks nice tho!! :)
