Monster Hunter XX Demo -- Opening
1The REAL reason to rope off the video separately, all things considered... is 'cause this is basically the same video used everywhere since there have been trailers for Monster Hunter XX... so... I don't want to drag down anything else unnecessarily along with it, at least as far as Content ID is concerned. It'd be weird NOT to have it on record somewhere, and it's not like I was expecting to do anything particularly nefarious with it, but better to just keep it isolated.

Honestly... every Monster Hunter for as long as I've been playing them has had a staged prerendered cinematic embellishing the lives of Hunters and trying to choreograph the unchoreographable art of the hunt... and for the most part, they're a pretty good, if unrealistically exaggerated look at expressing the excitement that the gameplay creates in players. They're generally pretty fun to watch!
...for some reason, though, this one doesn't really do the trick for me... I think they're going a little TOO far, even as Hunter (and now Prowler!) actions evolve to the point that they really ARE getting almost as insane as the cinematic versions suggest! Quick, someone kick a rocket-propelled grenade into a helicopter, they're catching on!

The obvious main attractions here are the Guild's airships and the new flagship monster for this entry, the somewhat questionably-named and judiciously-Romanized Valphalk. That's cute, humans are playing with balloons, but monsters have already invented jet propulsion.
