Old fixed-screen naval battle game in which you control a battleship and can move around the inner part of the screen in a U-shape-- you cannot move along the top of the screen, just the sides and the bottom. At the center of the screen is some sort of.. um.. ghost pirate? It looks sort of like a ghost from Pac-Man with an eyepatch. He has a rotating pen with a gap that you may be able to shoot through and get extra points for hitting him (he recovers), but your main goal is to destroy all the dots and mines (circles) in the maze. Hitting the mines causes a blast radius that can take out other mines/dots, similar to an older game called BLASTO (I have a review of it). Cannons are spread around inside the inner part of the playfield, and fire here and there. Getting hit by their fire is the only way to lose a life (unless maybe you run out of time-- but I'm not sure that can kill you). You can shoot their shots in midair. Not ALL the cannons will fire at you early on in the game but as you progress through the levels more and more will take shots at you. As you round a corner and travel up/down the left and right edges you don't need to press up or down; just keep pressing left or right as the ship travels along the edge. Just try to eliminate the dots/mines as quickly as possible (your shots travel all the way across the screen, so maybe clear out a column/row at a time), since the longer you take to complete a level the sooner the enemies fire more quickly. So-so naval battle game. Suggested by YouTube user Namcotenterprises.
