New Ghostbusters II (Nes) Playthrough /A really good Ghostbusters game. Don't cross the streams!
New Ghostbusters II (1990) from HAL, is actually a good game about Ghostbusters on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Based on the failures of the previous installments, fans had already lost hope for a good game from this well-known brand in the 80-90s . The two previous games, in total, without further ado, can be ranked among the worst on the system. Unfortunately, fans had to wait 6 long years for something acceptable, and still the game is rather a niche title and little is said about it. The game features all of the Ghostbusters plus their sidekick played in the film by Rick Moranis, which I must admit is a really nice tribute to the fans. All characters are playable in the same way, so whoever you choose will still play the same way. We have 2 characters at our disposal, one uses a proton pack and the other a trap. the second character follows us automatically and only activates when we press the trap button. Sometimes in the fervor of fighting ghosts the helper can get lost, but fortunately this is not a big problem because he quickly finds the right way. Catching ghosts is very simple and works on the principle, we shoot him with a proton pack which stops him in place . At that time we have to activate the trap and catch him. Simple as that. The game is not complicated and the variety of ghosts is quite large also we are unlikely to complain about the lack of variety. Admittedly, the game is very easy and a skilled player will be able to finish it the first time or possibly the second. Even though you lose a life after one hit, it doesn't matter much because the game is generally balanced on the easy side. A rather underrated title, but very good in its simplicity. And definitely the best 8-bit game of this legendary brand of sci-fi comedy. Highly recommended .
