The call to overhaul the nations education system through visionary, innovative and pragmatic policies is key to engendering sustainable development in Nigeria.
This is contained in the book authored by Professor Emeritus of Education, Benedicta Egbo titled "Education and Sustainable Development in 21st century Nigeria to be unveiled on Thursday in Abuja.
At a pre-event briefing in Abuja,the chairman, Planning Committee of the public lecture, Dr Chiakor Alfred said the book seeks to profer practical strategies for addressing the myriad challenges facing education in Nigeria while also emphasizing the interrelationship between education, society and sustainable development.
Giving details on the public lecture, Dr Alfred said it will enhance knowledge leadership & management, regenerate confidence in marshalling productive forces to turn around the fortunes of the country as captured in the renewed hope agenda of the present administration.

“RECLAIMING NIGERIA’S FUTURE: STRATEGIC FRAMEWORKS FOR ACHIEVING TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE”, will be delivered by Professor Adele Jinadu.
