With the Nintendo Direct last month, more Nintendo 64 games are confirmed for Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online, and there are some that I am really looking forward to playing. This game isn't really one of them, but at least we have it now, this is Pilotwings 64.
Pilotwings 64 was one of two launch titles for the Nintendo 64, the other being Super Mario 64, and it is the sequel to Pilotwings for the SNES.
In this game, you play as six different characters, and you take different flight lessons, like using a glider, a jet pack, or flying a plane, and it makes use of the 3D graphics. In each lesson, you have to do certain objectives before landing at the target destination, and most objectives usually have you go through rings or pop balloons, and each flight lesson has different controls.
Pilotwings 64 was originally going to have a sequel for the Nintendo 64, but it didn't get one until Pilotwings Resort for the Nintendo 3DS, and it was a launch title for that console. This is the first time Pilotwings 64 has ever been re-released, because it was never released on Virtual Console, and some of the upcoming games for Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online have never seen a re-release until once they come to Nintendo Switch Online.
