OH NO! SELLING A VIDEO GAME COLLECTION? WHERE TO START OVER?!?!
There can be times in everybody's life when you have a financial situation that needs to be taken care of. It could be an unexpected medical bill. A sudden car breakdown. A loss of a job. Over the years, many of us have had to sell our collections and start from scratch, so if I had to sell everything yet again where would I start over and with what games? I mean if you have to sell a video game collection, where and how would you start over? Let's take a look.
Number 3:
Sega Master System
I didn't grow up with a Sega Master system in my house, but my friend Kyle had one that we played often. I actually have owned one now for about 6 years and it's one of my favorite systems of all time, hence why it is on this list. In many ways it looks and sounds better than the Nintendo Entertainment System and has a fantastic library of games. Games like Double Dragon, Rampage, R-type, and Sonic the Hedgehog all play amazingly well on the Sega Master System.
Number two:
Nintendo Entertainment System
Sure this is a nostalgia choice, but it's also a love of the library choice too. The NES was really my gateway into what video games were back in the 1980s, and it is the system that I have more games for than anything else currently. From Darkwing Duck, Super Mario Brothers, RC Pro-Am, and more, I've probably spent more time in my entire life playing in NES than any other video game system.
Number one:
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System
The Super NES is without a doubt my favorite console of all time. This to me is when video gaming got serious, the graphics looked better, the sound was amazing, and the games are still hard to compete against. Super Mario World is my favorite game of all time, and I could be happy playing just that. But it also has things like the Super Game Boy that allows you to play Game Boy and Game Color games, essentially making it multiple systems in one.
If you had to restart your video game collection, where would you begin again? Where do my choices line up in your list? Let me know in the comments.
