Perfect Weapon wasn't really that perfect
Say hello to "Perfect Weapon," a title that was meant to be a mix of Mortal Kombat and survival horror, but ended up being as enjoyable as jumping headfirst into a cesspool.
This playable diarrhea was developed by the Canadian developer studio Gray Matter Inc. They began their career in 1985 with a series of games for the C64 and later for the NES and Super Nintendo, including classics like Wayne's World and The Incredible Crash Dummies.
The story of this shitshow revolves around Blake Hunter, an elite soldier in the Earth Defense Force and martial arts world champion. During a fight, his food slab was polished so hard that he was catapulted into another dimension. Now he has to fight his way through five alien worlds, each with its own flora and fauna, but all of which ultimately look the same, to find a key each time to reach the next world. During his journey through the alien worlds, he naturally not only wants to find his way back to Earth, but also to find out who or what got him into this mess in the first place. There's also a kind of mystical element, as this parade of beatings is apparently meant to be a kind of test.
