Third Full Moon event where we face two Arcana bosses in quick succession. Yukari is forced to be in the party this day, which is bad for two reasons. One, Yukari is underlevelled and is electric-weak, and the Hierophant boss spams powerful Zio spells - easily OHKO'd with a physical hit too. Second, Yukari takes forever to learn good abilities, so I think this is the last character I want for longterm, so I'd rather distribute the experience gained among the rest.

Yukari isn't entirely useless though - she can still use items (and there are many instances where this really helps) and her physical attacks can cause critical hits and trigger AoAs, just like anyone else's (they just happen to be much weaker).

This is where I show off some of the morphed skills I've managed to produce. One is Revolution, which greatly increases critical hit rates (apparently includes the opposition for some reason), making it better than Rebellion (lower chances of critting). A lot of our attacks are physicals, so +crit is really handy, and knocking the enemy down allows to re-act, deal extra damage or initiate AoAs, depending on the situation.

Second highly useful skill I got is Deathbound - quite a feat to have this at level 13, huh? Sadly, it's nowhere as broken as you'd think, but it's still pretty damn good. Deathbound deals severe slash damage to all foes (not much of a help here) and also happens to have very high crit rates, something I would guess Revolution augments even further. If Deathbound just hits a foe, it won't deal any particularly impressive damage, but if we can knock the boss down with a crit and follow up with another Deathbound, then the resulting damage will be quite ridiculous - and the rest of the party is still able to contribute with powered up attacks.

Hierophant specialises in Zio-magic, but has things like dispelling via Dekaja, debuffs and dangerous physicals like Swift Strike. Really, having Magic and Attack Mirrors up is a must, considering the boss could always OHKO the weak Yukari or score a crit more easily thanks to Revolution affecting him as well.

Reflecting Zio spells back at the boss isn't productive as he repels the attacks (nullifying the damage when they bounce back), but it does save Yukari and the MC (Berith persona is elec-weak) from dying, latter leading to a game over, and One-More attacks being used against us.

At the end, funny stuff happens and I'm actually really close to dying. The boss is about to die, and I whiff with Yukari, then whiff with Akihiko, and using a Garula Gem with Mitsuru for 100 damage somehow misses the KO on the boss. My magic mirror just ran out, so the boss can technically end the attempt by casting Mazio/Mazionga once more, but he goes for status instead - Prophecy of Ruin inflicting Fear. MC's Deathbound finishes the boss off.

Lovers is next, and she's both easier and harder than Hierophant (idk). She's easier because she doesn't resist her own spells - Maragilao deals full damage to her and bouncing it back with Magic Mirrors can deal damage equal to around 1/3 of her max HP - huge deal.

She is also more dangerous, as you can clearly see in this attempt, because of Heartbreaker - this skill deals Almighty damage, meaning its damage won't be reduced with resistances and it also ignores our mirrors completely. Yukari gets KO'd when this one is used (I don't know if using Akihiko's newly learnt Tarunda would've helped her survive, but the reason I didn't bother using it is because I was hoping for enormous reflected Maragilao damage, more powerful without weakening the boss's attack), and everyone is also suddenly in critical condition.

Since I just started using my buffs, I didn't want to spend like 2 turns of the whole party using 100 HP recovery items (why are there no good recovery items with decent availability in this game?) so I just revived Yukari to have an extra helping hand for mirrors, crits and the like, but since she lost the phys mirror effect the boss easily killed her next turn, getting a One More because it was a crit (Revolution's boost helps both sides, but Attack Mirrors help neutralise it on the other end).

I went ahead and risked (knowing that another Heartbreaker could be used against the party), just keeping MC's HP up so that it still wouldn't be a game over in the worst case and I'd have some decent chances of getting out alive in such a situation, and got lucky towards the end - Deathbound crit, followed by another Deathbound crit with the boss knocked down for like 600/1500 damage total. Stupid boss wouldn't use Maragilao on the party.

So that's two pretty lucky battles in the row. I wanted to show some attempts where I managed to reflect Maragilao too, but Lovers boss didn't use it against me even once when I was recording. Still, under Rakunda, the boss deals some ridiculous damage to herself.
