"Pink Goes to Hollywood" for the Sega Genesis is a side-scrolling platformer featuring the Pink Panther character, developed by HeadGames published by TecMagik in 1993. A version of the Super Nintendo (SNES) was developed by Manley & Associates and published in the same year by TecMagik too. While both versions share a common theme and visual style, they diverge in level design and gameplay mechanics.

As The Pink Panther auditions for a Hollywood role, he navigates through various movie sets while Inspector Clousseau relentlessly gives chase. Players starts the journey while shrunken down inside a house, functioning as the central hub connecting all game levels. Upon selecting a level, players enter a "Sound Stage" leading to a door labeled with the level's name, marking the beginning of the level. Upon completing a level, The Pink Panther returns to the main hub, with a barrier labeled "Set Closed" blocking access to the completed level's entrance.

The Pink Panther health is displayed at the top the screen. Contact with hazards deducts health, and falling into an abyss results in perishing, costing a life regardless of remaining health. Players can boost The Pink Panther's health by collecting square icons with a heart symbol scattered throughout levels. Additionally, collecting square icons with paw prints grants temporary invincibility, indicated by The Pink Panther flashing. Health resets to 100% upon entering or completing a level.

Overall, "Pink Goes to Hollywood" for the Sega Genesis is a good platformer. The music is the same as the score found in the cartoons, which is great. The graphics capture the zany and abstract visual style reminiscent of classic cartoons, which adds charm to the game. The different stages presents varied different environments reminiscent of movie sets. The only flaw with the game is that it doesn't really stand out from other similar games to make the experience unique.
