Playing Tentacular VR In The Meta Quest 2 Just Totally Surprised Me... This Game Is Great!
0Every once in a while a VR game totally takes me by surprise and I have to say that Tentacular from Firepunched Games and Devolver Digital just did exactly that! I loaded this one up expecting to bail in the first few minutes because quite frankly I don't normally go in for the cute cartoonish games like this one, but since I do like minture scale stuff in VR I decided to fire it up anyway and give it a shot and damn I am glad I did!
The game has a nice asthetic about it and the litle characters are great! The graphics and sound design are decent and it plays very well with the Quest 2's hardware. The only thing that did get sligfhtly annoying was the jibberish language that the islanders consistantly speak but I will admit I got used to it and sometimnes even found it humorous.
Overall if you looking for a light hearted game where you weild some awesomely cool tentacle hands and want to hurl stuff around with decent physics and also want a game with a bit of humor then I could't reccomend checking out Tentacular enough!
