This part is where I show off the Grand Underground, and before that, I show a certain Pokémon that only shows up on a certain day. The Grand Underground is much different to the original games, while you can dig for treasures, like Spheres, Fossils, and many others, you can make your Secret Base and explore Pokémon Hideaways, where Pokémon not native to Sinnoh can be found.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I am recording this video on the first Friday after the release of Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, because on Friday at the Valley Windworks, you can encounter Drifloon, it is Level 22, and it will have Shadow Ball and Hex at that level, so it is a tough Pokémon to catch, Normal-type Pokémon will not be affected by those moves, it does have Payback to hit them with. As it is Level 22, Drifloon is a good Pokémon to add to your team, and it does get Stockpile in two levels, it evolves at Level 28, and it has a high HP stat and good Special Attack, and it does learn some good TM moves like Thunderbolt and Psychic, so I would recommend it if you want to use a Ghost-type for your team, as it does have Shadow Ball right when you catch it.
You can enter Mt. Coronet from Route 211, but you can't fully access the place yet, but there is a new encounter, you can find Cleffa there, it is a 5% encounter normally, but they are more common in the morning, where it is a 25% chance. Cleffa is a Fairy-type Pokémon that evolves into Clefairy when it has high enough Friendship, and as Cleffa does start with 140 Friendship, you should have it evolved into Clefairy really soon. The Moon Stone can only be found in the Grand Underground, but there is a 5% chance you can find them on Cleffa. As for when to evolve Clefairy, I would say at least Level 24, which is when it learns Moonlight, and when it evolves, it learns every move Clefairy learns through level up, like Moonblast, Meteor Mash, and Cosmic Power, and it is a TM reliant Pokémon, I would recommend Cleffa if you want to use a Fairy-type Pokémon for your team.
Then for the main thing I want to show off, the Grand Underground, and there was a Mystery Gift code that went live at the time I recorded this video where you can earn shiny statues of the Sinnoh Starter Pokémon. In the Grand Underground, you can dig for items from the walls, you can use a pickaxe and a sledgehammer, and you can dig up Spheres, there are five different kinds, Red, Blue, Green, Prism, and Pale Spheres, and you can even dig up Evolution Stones, Shards, Plates, Fossils, and rare items like Heart Scales. You get the Skull Fossil in Brilliant Diamond, or the Armor Fossil in Shining Pearl. You can dig up mysterious boxes which contain Pokémon statues, which you can use to decorate your Secret Base, which requires the Digger Drill. There are some NPCs you can talk to, some give you items, like TMs. The Diglett give points, and when you have 40, you can dig up rarer statues.
New to this game are Pokémon Hideaways, you can encounter Wild Pokémon in the overworld, so it is like the Wild Area from Pokémon Sword & Shield, and you can control the Pokémon you find based on the statues you decorate your Secret Base with. You can even find rare spawn which are Pokémon not native to the Sinnoh Dex, so they give you some good options for certain types which are very limited in the Sinnoh Dex. I will list each Pokémon Hideaway and which Pokémon you can find in them, and they can have Egg Moves.
Spacious Cave: Zubat, Psyduck, Machop, Geodude, Murkrow, Bidoof, Kricketot, Shinx, Budew, Pachirisu, Buneary
Grassland Cave & Sunlit Cavern: Zubat, Machop, Murkrow, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Roselia, Bidoof, Kricketot, Shinx, Budew, Combee, Cherubi, Buneary

Rocky Cave, Volcanic Cave, Big Bluff Cavern & Typhlo Cavern: Geodude, Onix, Skorupi
Swampy Cave & Bogsunk Cavern: Zubat, Roselia, Skorupi, Croagunk
Dazzling Cave & Stargleam Cavern: Gastly, Misdreavus
Whiteout Cave: Machop, Shinx, Pachirisu, Buneary

Riverbank Cave & Still-Water Cavern: Psyduck, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Bidoof, Kricketot, Budew, Buizel, Buneary, Croagunk
Sandsear Cave: Onix, Skorupi

Then I will go which are the rare encounters, those are Pokémon not native to the Sinnoh Dex.
Magnemite, Lickitung, Rhyhorn, Scyther, Pinsir, Togepi, Gligar, Teddiursa, Swinub, Houndoom, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Ralts, Swablu, Duskull, Absol, Snorunt

Most of the Pokémon encountered there were in the Sinnoh Dex in Platinum, the exceptions being Teddiursa, Smoochum, and Pinsir. As for version exclusives, Murkrow, Elekid, Gligar, and Scyther are in Brilliant Diamond, while Misdreavus, Magby, Teddiursa, and Pinsir are in Shining Pearl. The Pokémon are at Level 16 to 20, but they do gain more levels when you earn badges, and more Pokémon show up when you progress further in the game.
