The first route in the Battle Zone, north of the Fight Area is Route 225, and there are a bunch of Trainers to fight there, and this route leads to the Survival Area. I will be doing rotating teams in the after-game, likely to balance out my levels and to test out some Pokémon in the National Dex.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

The good thing about the Pokémon you catch in the Grand Underground is that they can be found at Level 58 to 63 at this point, and the Trainers use some Pokémon in the National Dex that were not in the Sinnoh Dex. I will be changing around my team for each part in the Battle Zone, so that way I will be using Pokémon outside the Sinnoh Dex, I have Garchomp on the team, because I want to try and get it up to Level 70, and it will likely be my False Swipe user, and Pachirisu is there for Pickup, I don't care if Pachirisu ends up overleveled, it does have Nuzzle and Super Fang to help with catching Wild Pokémon.
On Route 225, there are some Pokémon you can encounter, like Fearow and Raticate, and going over them, Fearow is kind of outclassed by better Flying-type Pokémon, it can't even learn Brave Bird, the best it can use for a Flying-type move is Drill Peck, the nice thing is it can learn Drill Run, but that's about it, its pre-evolved form Spearow can be found on that route as a 5% encounter, and they can't be found in the Grand Underground.
Next is Raticate, and you can find Rattata as a 5% encounter, the good thing about Raticate is it can have Guts and it has a decent Speed stat, that is about it, Raticate isn't worth considering. It is one of few Pokémon to learn Super Fang, that is at least something, and it can get some decent Egg Moves like Final Gambit, Flame Wheel, Reversal, and a few other moves, not much to say about it.
Only at night, you can encounter Banette, this Ghost-type Pokémon has a good Attack stat, the rest of its stats are kind of average, Banette is a tricky Pokémon to work with, while it can put to use Physical moves like Shadow Claw, Sucker Punch, Shadow Sneak, and Knock Off, Banette's Physical movepool is very limited, I guess there's Gunk Shot which is a breeding move, and Banette can be found in the Grand Underground as well, and its pre-evolved form Shuppet can only be obtained through breeding.
Next is Poliwhirl, which can be found through Surfing and with the Super Rod, and you can get its pre-evolved form Poliwag with the Good Rod. Poliwhirl can evolve into Poliwrath with a Water Stone, giving it good Attack and well balanced stats, or into Politoed when traded while holding the King's Rock, giving it good Special Attack and Special Defense. Poliwhirl can have a 5% chance of holding the King's Rock, and this is the only way to get the King's Rock in this game, it can come with Egg Moves like Haze, Bubble Beam, and Mud Shot when caught in the Grand Underground.
You can find Mankey and Primeape with the Poké Radar, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to get it when they can be found in the Grand Underground. Primeape has very high Speed and Attack, and it does come with some good moves like Close Combat, Stomping Tantrum, and Outrage, and it can learn Earthquake and U-turn for good TM moves. For Egg Moves, it can have Night Slash, Beat Up, and Revenge for possible moves, it is a fast Fighting-type, so a decent option to use if you want to rotate around your team and want to try out some Pokémon in the National Dex.
The Swarm encounter is Makuhita, and this one is not available in the Grand Underground, Makuhita comes at around Level 50, so you can level it up once and it will evolve into Hariyama. It has high HP and good Attack, Hariyama learns some good moves like Close Combat and Heavy Slam, and it has good access to TMs like Earthquake, Rock Slide, and Poison Jab, it is a solid Fighting-type Pokémon to use.
There route has a lot of bridges, and there are a bunch of pathways to take, but for items you can pick up, there is a Lax Incense, which when given to Wobbuffet, you can breed for Wynaut, and it is like the Bright Powder where it boosts the user's evasion by 5%. There is a Dubious Disc, when given to Porygon2, it will evolve into Porygon-Z when traded, and you can find a Dawn Stone on this route.
