The double battle with Steven against Maxie and the Admin could be random. I used a Guard Special and a X-Special on Swampert and it got confused by Swagger. I used combinations of Surf and Ice Beam to quickly defeat their Pokémon and Metang needed to cooperate. The fight wasn't the best, but it went fairly quickly. I received HM08 from Steven and I entered the Seafloor Cavern. I dodged all the Aqua Grunts and I took the fastest path. I picked up Earthquake and I taught that to Swampert.

Saved at 2:02 with a L45 Swampert.
