The battle with Giovanni went fine. I 2HKO'd Rhyhorn and Onix with Brick Break. I also wanted to 2KOH Kangaskhan but failed. I decided to leave it this way because that isn't certain. I picked up the Sliph Scope and used Dig. Then I went to the Department Store and bought 10 Super Repels, 6 Super Potions, 12 X-Attacks, 12 X-Specials, 2 Guard Specs and a Carbos for extra speed with the rest of my money.
I also received Fly and taught it to Pidgey. I flew back to Celadon and went straight to the Gym. Charmeleon has Flamethrower now and this Gym is now extremely easy. Erika's Grass Pokémon are defeated by Flamethrower too. Then I flew to Lavander Town and splitted the segment up right before entering the Pokémon Tower.
