This is a annoying rival battle. I used a Guard Spec to dodge Pidgeot's Feather Dance. I used 2 X-Attacks again and OHKO'd Pidgeot with Rock Slide. I need to flinch Blastoise with Rock Slide once, otherwise it will KO my Charizard. Then I used 2 Earthquakes on it. The rest is easy, and with Earthquake they fall even faster than usual.
I went through Route 23 fast and I dodged every trainer in Victory Road. There I picked up my last Rare Candy and leveled up Charizard to L60. The Strength puzzle is done as fast as possible. I healed up in Indigo Plateau and bought 11 Full Restore because that's faster than buying 5.

Saved at 2:15 with a L60 Charizard
