It's already time for my final speed run: Pokémon Platinum. I took Platinum above D/P because the battle animations are a lot faster and I have access to Return early to conserve PP.
Things start off with the traditional speech of the regional professor. Then I go as fast as possible through the fist scenes. I saved right before picking my starter. This will be Turtwig, because Grass starters are always left behind. Torterra is the only one that can compete against the others but is still ignored because of its low speed. So I decided to use it here.
