With Pokémon Sword & Shield coming out very soon, I have decided to take on the Master Trainers, they are very powerful trainers that specialize in using only one species of Pokémon, and in order to battle them, you need to use the same species as the Pokémon the Master Trainer uses, so this is a mirror match, and some of them have moves that have a type advantage against their own type. The Master Trainers also have boosted AVs and have levels ranging from 65 to 80, so it is recommended that you invest in a lot of AVs and at Level 70 or higher to stand a good chance against them.
I will be fighting the Master Trainers at equal level to their Pokémon, as well as investing heavily on the relevant stats, and each video I will be taking on 10 Master Trainers in Pokédex order, so in this video, I will be fighting the following Master Trainers:
Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Caterpie
I will be including their movesets and the strategy to beating them, and I use Serebii.net for the info.
Bulbasaur Trainer - Lass Rena
Bulbasaur - Level 65
Nature: Brave
AVs: 120 HP, 80 Attack, 100 Defense, 80 Special Attack, 100 Special Defense
Stats: 273 HP, 176 Attack, 188 Defense, 189 Special Attack, 209 Special Defense, 56 Speed
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Take Down, Growth
Location: Route 4
Use Growth first, then Sludge Bomb for good damage.

Ivysaur Trainer - Lass Katrina
Ivysaur - Level 70
Nature: Brave
AVs: 150 HP, 80 Attack, 120 Defense, 80 Special Attack, 120 Special Defense
Stats: 335 HP, 204 Attack, 234 Defense, 218 Special Attack, 258 Special Defense, 80 Speed
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Double-Edge, Growth
Location: Route 14
Same strategy as the Bulbasaur Master Trainer, except the opposing Ivysaur has Double-Edge, Sludge Bomb is a good move for this.

Venusaur Trainer - Lass Sal
Venusaur - Level 75
Nature: Brave
AVs: 150 HP, 100 Attack, 150 Defense, 100 Special Attack, 150 Special Defense
Stats: 378 HP, 266 Attack, 302 Defense, 278 Special Attack, 328 Special Defense, 112 Speed
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Outrage, Growth
Location: Route 23
The one advantage is that Venusaur can Mega Evolution, Growth and Sludge Bomb are helpful for this.

Charmander Trainer - Ace Trainer Tim
Charmander - Level 65
Nature: Naive
AVs: 50 HP, 100 Attack, 50 Defense, 100 Special Attack, 50 Special Defense, 120 Speed
Stats: 195 HP, 192 Attack, 131 Defense, 203 Special Attack, 140 Special Defense, 229 Speed
Moves: Slash, Seismic Toss, Smokescreen
Location: Celadon City
Use Substitute first, then Rock Slide or Dig for good damage.

Charmeleon Trainer - Ace Trainer Christopher
Charmeleon - Level 70
Nature: Naive
AVs: 80 HP, 120 Attack, 50 Defense, 120 Special Attack, 50 Special Defense, 120 Speed
Stats: 262 HP, 236 Attack, 157 Defense, 258 Special Attack, 167 Special Defense, 258 Speed
Moves: Outrage, Dig, Smokescreen
Location: Route 10
If you have higher Speed than the opposing Charmeleon, Substitute first, and use Dig the turn after the opponent uses Dig.

Charizard Trainer - Ace Trainer Edmund
Charizard - Level 75
Nature: Naive
AVs: 100 HP, 150 Attack, 50 Defense, 150 Special Attack, 50 Special Defense, 120 Speed
Stats: 325 HP, 304 Attack, 195 Defense, 341 Special Attack, 205 Special Defense, 318 Speed
Moves: Dragon Pulse, Thunder Punch, Protect
Location: Route 23
I recommend going with Mega Charizard X and using Rock Slide, as Charizard has two moves to counter its two Mega Evolutions.

Squirtle Trainer - Beauty Suzy
Squirtle - Level 65
Nature: Careful
AVs: 80 HP, 50 Attack, 100 Defense, 50 Special Attack, 100 Special Defense, 80 Speed
Stats: 232 HP, 137 Attack, 209 Defense, 131 Special Attack, 218 Special Defense, 161 Speed
Moves: Headbutt, Bite, Withdraw
Location: Route 12
Use Toxic and Seismic Toss to defeat the opposing Squirtle.

Wartortle Trainer - Beauty Prita
Wartortle - Level 70
Nature: Careful
AVs: 100 HP, 50 Attack, 120 Defense, 50 Special Attack, 120 Special Defense, 100 Speed
Stats: 284 HP, 164 Attack, 258 Defense, 155 Special Attack, 271 Special Defense, 207 Speed
Moves: Headbutt, Rock Slide, Skull Bash
Location: Route 20
Same strategy as the Squirtle Master Trainer, I would recommend Toxic, Protect, and Seismic Toss, Substitute is another good option.

Blastoise Trainer - Beauty Tessa
Blastoise - Level 80
Nature: Careful
AVs: 120 HP, 50 Attack, 150 Defense, 50 Special Attack, 150 Special Defense, 100 Speed
Stats: 361 HP, 212 Attack, 339 Defense, 198 Special Attack, 366 Special Defense, 254 Speed
Moves: Fake Out, Rock Slide, Dark Pulse, Substitute
Location: Route 20
Make sure you use Toxic before the opposing Blastoise sets up a Substitute, and stall it away.

Caterpie Trainer - Bug Catcher Jake
Caterpie - Level 65
Nature: Jolly
AVs: 100 HP, 100 Attack, 100 Defense, 120 Speed
Stats: 253 HP, 164 Attack, 170 Defense, 27 Special Attack, 31 Special Defense, 211 Speed
Moves: Tackle, String Shot
Location: Route 18
Just keep using Tackle.
