Kirby Star Allies: Guest Star Gim: Up-and-Down Dynamo
1Gim, a robotic life-form, is here to perform some cool tricks with his yo-yo, which also works as a weapon, so the tricks that Gim can perform can give him an advantage in battle.
The moveset for the Yo-Yo Ability is mostly break-dancing and tricks, and Gim can grab opponents with his yo-yo and drop them for massive damage. It works as a projectile, making Gim a good ranged attacker, almost like the Whip and Staff Abilities.
For elemental attributes, you do get some cool effects, with Bluster Yo-Yo affecting Gim's walking speed, lowering his descent in the air, and many others. With Walk the Dog, Gim's yo-yo creates either an icicle, a spout of water, or a burst of flame, or summon lightning bolts continuously. The Break Spin was the inspiration of Kirby's Dash Attack in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and speaking of Super Smash Bros., the Yo-Yo Abilities has some references to Ness from EarthBound, which HAL has also worked on.
Even though Yo-Yo isn't one of my favourite abilities, Gim can be an interesting Kirby enemy to go through Guest Stars with, as you can do many different tricks with him.
