Pokémon Platinum Improved Speed Run Segment 19
2Crasher Wake is harder than you would think with Torterra. It's useless to use X-items, because the result is the same. Gyarados needs to be taken down with no problems. Torterra can't be flinched and it needs to be in Overgrow range. Floatzel is still faster after a X-Speed and with Overgrow I can OHKO it. Torterra also needs to be at a low HP so Floatzel used Aqua Jet, and it's HP can't be too low. Quagsire is the easiest of Wake's team.
Next up is the Galactic Grunt chase. I needed to dodge all trainers on Route 213 again and healed up Torterra. The Grunt himself is very easy to beat. Cynthia gave me the Secret Potion so it can heal the Psyduck on Route 210. I received an Old Charm and went into the very tall grass. I had to reset once here because I didn't see that stupid Ninja Boy. I saved in the foggy area.
