The battle against Clair can be tough and I used a X-Speed and X-Attack against her Gyarados. I 2HKO'd it then with Slash and healed up against one of her Dragonair. I OHKO'd both of them with Ice Fang. Kingdra can be 2HKO'd with Crunch, but I needed a defense drop so it's Sitrus Berry won't save it. I defeated Kingdra without the berry being used and was sent to the Dragon's Den.
I defeated another trainer with a Dragonair and used Whirlpool to enter the main house. I took the test there and passed. Clair finally gave me the badge and I used the Escape Rope I had forgotten to buy. I went to Elm's lab where I received a Master Ball. I flew back to Ecruteak City where I saved before the Dance Theater.

Saved at 2:22 with a L44 Feraligatr.
