I surfed straight to Mossdeep City dodging all trainers. I immediately went into Stevens house where I received Dive. I also obtained the Super Rod and that's the main reason I saved. I don't care if I catch either a Wailmer or Sharpedo, but the latter has a better advantage in the upcoming gym. I need to bring them close to fainting so I can catch one of them with the Ultra Ball I bought earlier. If I didn't save and it escaped, I would have redone segment 14 again or I could just have used the Master Ball, if I picked it up in the hideout. Then I went to the gym and solved the sliding puzzle while battling 1 trainers who's Xatu gets defeated easily. I saved before Tate and Liza.
