The second rival battle is one of the hardest in the run. I need 2 X-Speeds during Numel to make Marshtomp faster than Grovyle and 3 X-Attacks to 2HKO it with the health it takes from Absorb. Lukily, I got a critical hit and Wailmer is a certain OHKO. Then I also managed to dodge the rest of the trainers on Route 110.
When I reached Mauville, I immediately got Rock Smash and the Mach Bike. Wally's Ralts is a joke with Mud Shot. They're 2 required battles in the Gym and the 3 Voltorb can be tricky if they all decide to use Sonicboom. Luxkily, that didn't happen and I saved before Wattson.
