Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - Mochi Mayhem - First 30 Minutes
4About a month after Indigo Disk was released, we have the Epilogue, "Mochi Mayhem." You get this after you've completed Indigo Disk (which, in turn, requires you finish the main game and Teal Mask) and played at least one Academy Ace Tournament. After that, you can get the Mythical Pecha Berry from Mystery Gift, which will begin the epilogue upon examining the strange purple thing at Peachy's in Mossui Town. (You'll aslo see me pick up the Mystery Gift containing ten of TM223. That's Metal Sound, and they provided these TMs as an apology for requiring Shieldon materials, even though Shieldon is exclusive to Violet.)
I wasn't sure how long Mochi Mayhem would be, but as it seems, it took about one hour for me to finish. So...here is the first 30 minutes. Pecharunt itself reminds me of Eve from WALL-E, only purple. And evil. At least when closed. (The battle theme among the people under Pecharunt's command, by the way, is a remix of the Loyal Three battle theme.)
I'll probably put up the Pecharunt battle later, but I had inadvertently missed bringing out any of the Loyal Three. I got Ogerpon out, and they have a brief chat in Pokémon-speak, but apparently, the Loyal Three do too. It's an interesting touch considering Pecharunt has history with all four of them.
The fifth match in the session introducing the Safari Team, "Stellar Formation," is scheduled for Saturday, January 13th, 2024. Please stay tuned.
