I used: Forretress, Clawitzer, and Polteageist
My Opponent used: Dragonite, Lycanroc (Midnight Form), and Chien-Pao
Stadium: Cabo Paco
Battle BGM: Wild Pokémon

I do like how my opponent not only has some Pokémon that are not commonly used, but also has some Pokémon that are in the top usage charts, like Dragonite and Chien-Pao, and have completely original sets, the moves on Dragonite were some I was not expecting to see used, the moment I saw the Toxic Orb, I was wondering what my opponent's strategy is, because whenever a Dragonite is used in an online battle, most players are expecting it to set up Dragon Dance and go for the Extreme Speed from its Normal Tera Type.
I did like seeing some less common Pokémon, for example, Florges, Dragalge, and Lycanroc are those Pokémon, Lycanroc was the one used in the battle, I did battle that player again, but decided to go with that one, and Florges was used in that battle, it is the White Flower form, which is the rarest, or used to be the rarest, because in Generations 6 and 7, the White Flower form was a 1% encounter, but in this game, every Floette you can find in Area Zero are the White Flower form, I think it takes away the value of what was once an extremely rare encounter, I guess right now the rarest form anyone can have is a Three-Segment Dudunsparce.
In this battle, I use Forretress as I did see that most of my opponent's Pokémon were those he had the type advantage against, like Chien-Pao, Lycanroc, and many others, and while Gyro Ball would be super effective against Florges, it would do a good amount of damage against it, my Forretress does have 0 IVs in Speed and a Relaxed Nature to make his Gyro Ball hit as hard as it can, specially against really fast opponents.
I test out Clawitzer and Polteageist in this battle, and I was not expecting my opponent's Lycanroc to have Trailblaze and a Grass Tera Type, while good for getting through the types it is weak to, and Trailblaze helping fix Lycanroc's average Speed stat, and it was good to see a player using a Midnight Form Lycanroc in online battles, as this is the form that sees the least amount of use. Clawitzer has the usual moves that I would use, but the downside is she cannot learn Terrain Pulse in this game, I did read about the Pokémon HOME Move Tutor thing where you can teach them any move it can learn in Sword & Shield or other Nintendo Switch Pokémon games, and if that is the case, then I could one time get Terrain Pulse on Clawitzer, because in Sword & Shield online battles, I did use a Clawitzer that paired with other Pokémon that can set up terrain with their Abilities, and I would make good use of Terrain Pulse there.
Polteageist has the usual set that is used on one, the Shell Smash set, it has Shadow Ball and Stored Power for some powerful moves, and Tera Blast to pair with its Fighting Tera Type, at least to give Polteageist a way to take on Dark-type Pokémon. I had initially trained up Polteageist for Tera Raid Battles beause I read about the Skill Swap strategy that can help in most 6 Star Tera Raid battles where you can give them Weak Armor and then have your teammates take advantage of it by weakening the Tera Raid Pokémon's Defense.
