I used: Drednaw, Flareon, and Gardevoir
My Opponent used: Ribombee, Pheromosa, and Araquanid
Stadium: Standard
Battle BGM: Battle Tower

I seem to be going up against some Monotype teams lately, my opponent in this case has a Mono-Bug team, and I saw that my opponent had some Pokémon that weren't commonly used in online battles, like Crustle, Shuckle, and Araquanid, and out of the Pokémon on my opponent's team, the ones that were introduced in Generation 7 were picked for this battle.
Even if it was a Monotype team, my opponent had some really good coverage moves on his team, or her team, I couldn't tell if my opponent's player character was a girl, because of how the player character's hair looked. I liked how my opponent started with Reflect on Ribombee, and she had Energy Ball for any Rock-type Pokémon she was up against, my opponent's Pheromosa had some sort of Electric-type move, very likely Electroweb, as this is the only Electric-type move Pheromosa can get in this game, unless this Pheromosa was transferred over from a Gen 7 game, because it can get Shock Wave in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon through the Move Tutors.
It was a good thing I decided to lead with Drednaw in this fight, and this was a Pokémon that I have been waiting to use online for quite a long time, but I couldn't find a team to fit Drednaw in because it has so many weaknesses to different types, including a 4x weakness to Grass, and Water/Rock is a tough type to fit in on a team if you want to try and minimize your weaknesses. My Drednaw can Gigantamax, so he can use G-Max Stonesurge, and even if it comes from Drednaw's Water-type moves, it can lay Stealth Rock on the opponent's side of the field, which is very helpful if my opponent has a full team of Bug-type Pokémon. I did consider Rain Dance on Drednaw at first so that way it can activate Swift Swim, and then Drednaw can deal some heavy damage with his moves while Gigantamaxed, although Max Rockfall can replace the rain with sandstorm, and I went with Stone Edge over Head Smash, because I don't like the heavy recoil from Head Smash.
The reason why I didn't go with Rain Dance on Drednaw was that it can hinder Flareon, and I did pick Flareon for this fight if ever I use him against my opponent, so in the end, I went with Swords Dance on Drednaw.
The good thing about having Trace on Gardevoir is so I can get a good Ability from my opponent, a good example is Pheromosa's Beast Boost, because that way Gardevoir can get a Special Attack boost if she knocks out an opponent, and as for Pheromosa's Beast Boost, depending on the Nature and EVs, Pheromosa can gain an Attack or Special Attack boost based on the set, and if it has a Speed Nature, then it will get a boost in Speed with Beast Boost, the downside is Pheromosa cannot take a hit very well. The high Speed and good Attack and Special Attack was the reason behind Pheromosa's ban to Ubers in the competitive scene, although if Pokémon Sword & Shield followed Smogon's rules, then it would restrict certain Pokémon, but this is a game where you can use any Pokémon in, and I have heard that the next season of Ranked Battles will go back to how it was before Restricted Legendary Pokémon were allowed.
