I used: Latias, Drednaw, and Vikavolt
My Opponent used: Hatterene, Alolan Marowak, and Alolan Raichu
Stadium: Battle Tower
Battle BGM: Trainer

I like how my opponent's team has two Pokémon that work well together, one example is Hatterene and Alolan Marowak, because Hatterene can use Trick Room which can help Alolan Marowak. There is also Pelipper's Drizzle Ability which can power up Azumarill's Water-type moves, and Pincurchin which can have Electric Surge, and that will activate Alolan Raichu's Surge Surfer, doubling her Speed when Electric Terrain is active.
This fight can go many different ways based on what my opponent uses, and the first choice was Hatterene, because I did see that some of my opponent's Pokémon are on the slow side, so the lead with Hatterene does help her team out. I decided to lead with Latias in this fight, and after a bit of decision, I went with a Calm Mind set with moves like Draco Meteor, Psyshock, and Mystical Fire, and she is holding a Soul Dew, which did get nerfed in the Gen 7 games, because prior to Gen 7, the Soul Dew would boost the Special Attack and Special Defense of Latias and Latios, and this was what made them really overpowered to the point they got banned in Gen 3 and 4, although there have been times where Latias was OU for a bit in Gen 4 before she got banned to Ubers, and because of these effects, the Soul Dew was banned in the Battle Tower and any official tournaments.
In Gen 7, the Soul Dew's effect was changed, it now boosts the power of their Dragon and Psychic-type moves, so Latias is more better off with Leftovers, while Latios usually has Choice Specs for the held item.
I was surprised to see Misty Explosion being used by Hatterene, and I did look up to see that out of all the Pokémon that can learn Misty Explosion, Hatterene has the highest Special Attack stat out of all of them. It was good seeing both Alola Forms of both Marowak and Raichu being used online, because back in the days of Gen 7, Alolan Marowak was one of the best Alola Forms in the competitive scene, and Alolan Raichu did require Electric Terrain support to make the best use out of it, but now with Dynamax in the game, Raichu can set up its own Electric Terrain with Max Lightning, so this does make Alolan Raichu a good user of Dynamax.
